SUMMER WORKSHOP 5—AUGUST 7: PRINTMAKING (LINOCUTS)

SUMMER WORKSHOP 6—AUGUST 14: COLLAGE (MIXED-MEDIA)

Geared for adult students of all levels—from beginning to advanced—the Materials & Techniques Workshops are facilitated by master artists/educators concentrating on a select area of their expertise. Students will work in a small group to explore distinct concepts, media and methods, and within the individual workshop will make a formal small-scale piece of art based on preliminary experiences/sketches, under the guidance of the instructor.

$110/workshop (artists bring their work)

Geared for serious practicing artists, the Visiting Artist Lecture + Critique Workshops are facilitated by Director, Shannon Rae Fincke in conjunction with a different guest artist at each workshop. The visiting artist leads the session with a slide-show artist talk about their work, studio practice, background and career, followed by a class Q&A. The second part of the workshop will be based on each of the participating artists in the class taking turns presenting physical examples of their work and/or professional practice materials (such as statements, social media, web sites, proposals, etc) to the group for feedback from the visiting artist, director, and peers.

Registration Policies

Enrollment in Workshops is on an individual/short-term basis for the designated length of the selected Workshop. Space permitting, registration is automatic upon submitting this form and paying tuition. Student who wish to continue in the next offering of the same Workshop must pay the tuition as soon as possible to reserve their continued spot in the Workshop. No spaces can be held in a Workshop without the full tuition having been paid. Tuition for Workshops may not be pro-rated and is non-refundable, and no exceptions can be made for any reason, including credits/transfers. Missed classes are not credited. Make-up classes cannot be offered to students in Workshops. Late pick-ups of children are subject to late fees.
